Skins are a cosmetic feature in Wildcraft. Skins have all 4 rarities, and are one of the most common items to get out of a chest. By default, each animal has 2 skins already in their Collection. You can get Common, Rare, Legendary, and Mystic skins from Chests. All skins, except Mystic and Wildclub (if you don't have it), can also be bought with Acorns or Gems.
Most animals have a total of Skins. Collecting all of the skins for an animal will give the player an Achievement.
Trivia
Legendary skins were first added to the game on March 13, 2018. At the time, there were only 2 Legendary skins for each animal (Wolves, Foxes, and Lynxes). Two more for each animal were added on April 18 of the same year.
Mystic skins were first added to the game on Sept. 22, 2018.
When a new animal is added, it most likely will not have Mystic skins until a further update.
There was previously a glitch that allowed players to wear a Mystic skin without unlocking it.
Occasionally, there's the option to buy Legendary skins for Gems in the game menu at a discounted price
